Clearview plumbing was repeat of Ace Plumbing. Stay CLEAR of these companies. 2 clogged bathroom sink drains, ( kids hair) $300 plus to auger one. He wasted my time upfront having me show him where my main shut off valve was, and asking me questions on his iPad about the age of my house etc. I escorted him to door and paid him $70 for his visit. NO work completed. Found another plumber and sinks were cleared within 10 min. and $100 later. Don't waste your time and $$ with Clearview plumbing.

Using a light on a camera, the tech tells me my upstairs toilet has a slow leak and a leak, according to The City of Calgary can fill an Olympic size swimming pool. Like I would not notice that kind of a leak! After he left I did the food color test in the tank and there was NO LEAK through to the bowl. He wanted $139.00 for a new flapper valve installed. I can get one at any hardware store for about $10.00 and clip it on myself.
His 'options' were: (N.B.: He told methere ws a leak and there was no leak)
1 A new flapper valve installed for $139.00 which are a simple hardware store purchase for $10.00 and a simple self install.
2 Overpriced Viper toilet at $1318.00
He should have just said 'all is well' and left.

I had an air conditioner inspection arranged but tat day was not going to be suitable due to weather so I asked them to change the date from Tuesday to Friday. Friday morning I get a call that they are too busy so we'll do it the following Tuesday. Fine until I get another call saying they are too busy and we'kll change it to Friday afternoon.
N.B.: I was a member of their CLEAR PROTECTION MAINTENANCE PLAN which their site says:
"Priority Service. Jump to the head of the line! Whether it’s a routine call or an emergency, as a CLEAR PROTECTION member, your job will be scheduled ahead of others."
Somehow that does not seem to be happening. Now I have no trust in Clearview. I made some negative reviews on various sites and they saw them and immediately cancelled my air conditioner inspection because I had spoken badly of them.
I asked for a refund of the value of the inspection. their site says:
"100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not fully satisfied with our service, just let us know. We’ll make it right or you don’t pay!"
I get the response that no, they will not do that and, bypassing their policy of no refunds, will give me back one month ($22.95) and that is it!
So I have taken it to BBB and continue to post reviews.
