Appliance Doctor came to fix my Asko dishwasher which would not stop trying to drain ... easy to book online, confirmed with an email, called 1/2 hour before arriving. Diagnosed the problem as a leak below the central spray arm. Located a replacement part and estimated the "fix" - several hundred dollars - mainly labour. With the ok to proceed, Appliance Doctor ordered the part and set up an installation appointment when the part arrived a few days later. After installing the part, the dishwasher was tested - unfortunately, it still leaked. It was not apparent where the problem really was until the "expected" problem part was removed. With apologies for "misdiagnosing" the problem, I was pleasantly surprised to be told there would be no charge because the problem was not fixed. Asked whether I wanted to continue with finding a solution or to abandon the effort, I decided to replace the dishwasher. After buying a replacement, I phoned Appliance Doctor again and contracted with them for the installation. The charge was less than the price quoted by the outlet where the new dishwasher was purchased and they came the next day rather than the two weeks which had been estimated by the outlet store. Terrific service - I'd call them again for any appliance issues.
